WHAT IS MIGRANTS PROGRAM?

The CFC Migrants Program is an "active evangelization in migration".  Through this program CFC seeks to empower migrants and families to be active witnesses of Christ to their places of work, and to be active servants in the church. It also aims to unite families in the middle of migration through the formation programs available which help address the needs brought about by the separation of the overseas worker and his / her family.

The CFC Migrants Program, which is currently headed by Bro Jess Ferrer was launched in 2009 at the call of the GOSPEL in giving  courage and support to Overseas Filipino Workers to meet the challenges of being away from home country and families. The immensity of its work inspires CFC the mission and vision a sacred gift of empowering Filipino Migrants to cope with changes in social, cultural, spiritual, environmental, and physical; that comes with migration. Its work produces history of memories, stories and personal encounters with the Migrants and their families offering our CFC families in joyful service for their growth, change and conversion through Values Enhancement Programs resulting to active Evangelization to maintain unity “ marked by  great diversity which comes from both the variety of God’s gifts and the diversity of those who receive them. Within the unity of the people of God, thus a multiplicity of peoples and cultures are gathered together.”
